May 8, 2013
Major League Baseball player Matt Kemp went above and beyond to make a young man's night. During a recent Los Angeles Dodgers game, Kemp walked over to Joshua Jones in the stands and handed him a signed baseball, followed by his hat, jersey, and shoes.
According to the back story on YouTube, Joshua is sufferring from a rare form of cancer. His family got together and bought him excellent seats to see the Dodgers play the Giants in San Francisco.
Joshua's father was able to get the attention of third base coach, Tim Wallach, and let him know about his son and how excited Joshua was to be at the game. Wallach told him he would do his best to get Kemp over after the game. Kemp did way more than a visit after the game.
Joshua's best friend Tommy Shultz was able to catch the incredible act on his phone and uploaded it to YouTube. Even though the Dodgers lost the game, Kemp hit a grand slam with this and deserves MVP.
