Boy gives away all birthday presents to less fortunate children for Christmas

A caring young boy from Oklahoma donated all of his 8th birthday presents to the Toys for Tots toy drive. Toys for Tots collects gifts during the holiday season and distributes them to less fortunate children as Christmas presents.

Chase Branscum understands what Christmas is all about. At just 8 years old, he knows that it is better to give than receive. He understands that there are children around the world who are not fortunate enough to open toys on Christmas day. He wanted to give as many children as he could that warm, happy feeling he receives every year.

"I already have toys and other kids don't," said Chase. "And when they don't have anything for Christmas they can't play and they can't have fun."

Over 100 guests came to Chase's birthday, held at a local church. Over 500 presents were collected for distribution.

Danny Stockton of Red Dot Laser Tag heard about the party and hosted a free after party for all the kids and parents involved. This included free games of laser tag, food and drinks.

Out of 500 gifts collected on his birthday, Chase will not be taking any for himself. Now THAT is something to feel good about.
