Police Dept. Honors Retired Officer With Escort And Final Salute As He Enters Hospice Care

An emotional video posted by Tami Serna, of Otsego, Minnesota is going viral on Facebook today. The video shows the Coon Rapids Police Department offering Serna's father, Denny Preston, a final salute.
"My dad worked for Coon Rapids Police Department for 26 years and retired 16 years ago, Serna wrote. "After a long battle with cancer, he made the decision to go home for hospice care for his final few days. CRPD arranged a police escort from the hospital to his house and also had officers lined up to greet him."
