Music brings 7 year-old girl out of coma

June 19, 2012

Charlotte Neve made a miracle recovery after hearing her favorite Adele song, "Rolling in the Deep". Charlotte suffers from a rare brain hemorrhage which put her into an unresponsive coma.

Doctors agreed that Charlotte was probably not going to make it considering the severity of this rare condition. They informed Charlotte's mother, Leila, that she should say her goodbyes.

It was not until Leila decided to climb into bed with her while playing their favorite Adele song that she realized miracles can happen. Leila and Charlotte loved to sing Adele songs together. As Leila started singing "Rolling in the Deep" to her, she noticed Charlotte began to respond to her voice.

"Charlotte started smiling and I couldn’t believe it. It was the first time she had reacted to anything since the hemorrhage. The nurses were astounded and told me to keep singing -- and she smiled again," Leila told the Sun. "The nurses said it was like I unlocked her and from that day she started getting better and better."

Ever since that moment, Charlotte has been making a remarkable recovery. Doctors have stopped telling Charlotte's family what she can and can't do anymore. They are completely amazed by her recovery.

Leila and the rest of her very supportive family started a fundraiser online using facebook called Lottie Loo's Get Well Wish.

Once again, it is miraculous what the power of music is capable of...
