A Group Of Ice Harvesters Built 'Icehenge' In The Middle Of A Frozen Lake
February 5, 2015
In the middle of Rock Lake, Wisconsin, lies "Icehenge" - a massive ice sculpture resembling England's Stonehenge.
A few years ago, five local residents got a hold of some vintage ice saws and wanted to experience what it would be like making a living as an ice harvester. After a while, they thought about building something on the lake with the 200-400 pound ice blocks they had been cutting.
Thus, the "Rock Lake Icehenge" was born.

But it won't last long. Once the below freezing temperatures rise and the sun comes out, Icehenge will melt away.
