In an interview with CBS This Morning, comedian Dave Chapelle talks about his rise to fame and how he decided to leave it at the top of his game. Not many understood why he did it, so he used a scene from a nature documentary to explain it.
Basically, the entertainment industry was using Dave to get to "water" (a lot of money). He felt trapped like the baboon, but unlike the baboon he was smart enough to realize he should just let go of his "show/money/fame" so he can be free.
