She Suffers From Syncope And Passes Out Frequently. This Is How Her Service Dog Helps Her
January 22, 2017
Colt is a service dog who's been trained to alert his owner to seizures and Syncope, a pass out spell, 15 minutes before it happens. This gives the person enough time to get to a safe place and lay down.
After the person passes out, he lays on her legs and licks her hands until she responds. Once he notices her coming back, he will lick her face to help her come out of it faster. He also listens to her heart beat and breathing to make sure nothing is wrong.
