This Video Shows How A Single Vehicle Causes A Phanton Traffic Jam

In 2008, Professor Yuki Sugiyama, head of the Mathematical Society of Traffic Flow at Japan’s Nagoya University, conducted a world-first experiment to better understand the nature of traffic jams and how they seem to appear and disappear even on straight roads without accidents.
The video below proves that it only takes ONE vehicle unnecessarily pressing the brakes to bring everything to a halt. Basically, it only takes one bad driver to ruin everyone else's day for hours to come.
