They Set Up Mirrors In The Jungle To See How Animals Would React To Seeing Their Reflections

French photographer Xavier Hubert Brierre traveled to Gabon, Africa, and set up mirrors in several locations of the jungle to capture the reactions of random animals walking by.
Most animals don't understand they're looking at themselves. Elephants, dolphins, and chimpanzees have been known to understand, but usually in a setting with human interaction. Even human babies don't realize it's their reflection until about 6 months of age!
