James Tayler, from Oxfordshire, posted on Twitter he had a very good reason to be proud of his 18-year-old son, Jacob.

After Jacob finished work at Clark's shoe shop on Saturday, he was handed a "celebration alert" from the store manager. The alert was prompted by an email from a customer who praised Jacob for helping her daughter who was suffering from sensory overload while in the store.

"I'm ridiculously proud of both of my children, but my 18 year old son was presented with this at his Saturday job yesterday and I might be a little choked up," James wrote on Twitter.

Dawn Brown, the customer who had emailed the store, saw James' tweet and is happy to know Jacob got the recognition he deserved.

James' tweet has received more than 100,000 likes.

Dawn joked she would ask Jacob for his autograph the next time they buy shoes.
