An Experimental Psychologist Says There's A Portrait In This Image. Can You See It?

Akiyoshi Kitaoka, a Japanese experimental psychologist who studies visual illusions as well as makes illusion artworks, shared the following portrait on Twitter this week.

Looking at the image head-on, you most-likely only see black and white squares.

You can try looking at it from a distance, or at an angle.

But the trick that works best for most people is to look at the squares while scrolling up or down.
