This Airport Hired A Costumed Therapy Pig To Help Nervous Airline Passengers Relax

To help airline passengers with travel anxiety, the San Francisco International Airport has hired the nation's first airport therapy pig.

Meet LiLou!

LiLou is part of the airport's Wag Brigade which includes about 300 cats and dogs whose presence help make the strains of travel a bit easier.

LiLou is the first swine to join the airport's a team of therapy animals, and is believed to be the only airport porker in the country.

She was chosen for her winning personality, and her overall cuteness, which is off the charts.

She spends her days greeting travelers in a series of costumes.

Officials says LiLou loves performing tricks for her audiences.

And when she's not on airport duty, she visits several other facilities in San Francisco, including senior centers and hospitals.
