Jonathan Graziano didn't have a human Valentine this year, but he did have Noodle.

Graziano and Noodle became best friends after the BarkPost writer performed a stand-up comedy routine about pugs, he told BuzzFeed.

After his set, a woman approached him with a unique proposition. She ran a shelter in Long Island, and said she had a pug that needed a home. Once Graziano saw Noodle, it was love at first sight.

To celebrate that love, Jonathan took a series of engagement-style photos with his charming pug in Central Park.

"We wear these rings as a symbol of our commitment. And I know Noodle's not wearing a ring right now. We lost it the other night while we were making dinner, but don't worry — we've already ordered another one!"

Although Noodle has only lived with Graziano for a little over a month, the two are soulmates.
