Alycia Zimmerman, a third grade teacher at P.S. 33 Chelsea Prep in Manhattan, found a creative and fun way to teach her students mathematics.

Zimmerman told Scholastic:

"Fractions always seem to trip up my students. The only way to combat fraction-mayhem is to provide students with a LOT of opportunities to experience fractions with tangible objects."
