Someone Built An Adult Version Of Everyone's Favorite Childhood Toy Car, And It's For Sale
October 16, 2015
Your favorite childhood car is all grown-up. And it's amazing.
That's right, a roadworthy version of the Little Tikes "Cozy Coupe" toy car has been built.
Constructed by mechanic John Bitmead and his brother Geoff from Attitude Autos, the adult-sized copy, which takes petrol and has a tax disc, can reach speeds of up to 70 mph.
Watch it in action below:
Bitmead has used the car to raise thousands for children's charities over the last two years, but is currently selling the nostalgic vehicle on eBay for at least £21,500 (roughly $33,000).
"We have covered over 5,000 miles in the past two years driving around shows and charity events in the UK and, apart from it not being the fastest car on the planet has been the most incredible fun with people queuing up to take photos along dual carriageways and highways on every trip," he writes on the eBay listing. "It's guaranteed to create smiles wherever it goes!"
