This Body Shop In Oklahoma Has Two Life-Size Transformers Keeping Guard At All Times

September 14, 2015

Two 20-foot tall Transformers made entirely of scrap metal - Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, to be exact - loom over the East and West locations of the G&M Body Shop in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

The body shop, run by Mikal McCubbin and his sons, ordered the autobots from a company in Thailand.

But after spending three months crossing the globe to Stillwater, Oklahoma, McCubbin decided that they just weren't good enough.

He spent the next next year completely dismantling, rebuilding, and reinforcing the 10,000 lbs of recycled parts before installing them

The public reaction has proved to be worth the effort.

McCubbin said:

"The people of Stillwater are really enjoying it. It's something for this town."

I just hope this is not going to attract Decepticons.
