Mom Loses 2 Pounds At The Gym. Her Before-And-After Pics Prove The Scale Means Nothing

February 24, 2017

Fitness blogger Adrienne Osuna gives us the perfect reason to stop obsessing over our weight and start focusing on how we look and feel in our bodies instead.

The mother of four set out with a goal to work on her fitness. She completely transformed her body, but the number on the scale stayed almost the same.

*For all the people that don't read the post...YES TWO POUNDS. Body recomposition. Lost fat gained muscle! NEGATIVE COMMENTS ARE DELETED AND BLOCKED*. People have been messaging me telling me they've seen this pic all over 😬like on Facebook pages and groups, twitter, other accounts here ect. I don't mind people sharing it!! But I DID NOT use anyone's products to do fact I didn't even diet to do this πŸ˜‚ this was all hard work in the gym lifting heavy weights and intermittent fasting. And for anyone just seeing this for the first time YESSS really 2 lbs, the scale doesn't measure fat vs muscle! Keep going girls πŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ’–πŸ’œ . . . . . . . . #weightlossjourney #momsthatlift #powerlifting #eattoperform #iifym #allthefood #bodybuilding #strongmom #flexibledieting #squats #fitnessjourney #strongwoman #girlswithmuscle #girlswhopowerlift #dietingsucks #fitbit #fitfam #bodypositivity #powerliftingbuiltthisbody #deadlifts #liftheavythings #intuitiveeating #bodybuildinglife #gymislife #progressnotperfection #beforeandafterweightloss #powerlifter #beyondthescale #nsv #heavylifting

Adrienne is living proof that we need to worry less about the number on the scale and worry more about how our bodies move and function as a way to measure our health.

Oh my goodness you guys. I was just interviewed by US Weekly! AND my friend @bpark89 just called me freaking out and saw my pictures on national TV on CBS's show The Talk and they were taking about me 😳omgosh you guys! I'm gonna die 😬😬😱 I can't believe that I am able to share with the world that the scale is not the ultimate factor in success. I was tired of dieting and obsessing over the scale. I started to Lift heavy things. I stopped yo-yo dieting, and then added intermittent fasting. I am not done yet. I am not perfect. This is just what I did and I am happy to share it with you all πŸ’–πŸ’– thank you ALL SO MUCH for your love and support. πŸ–€πŸ’–πŸ–€πŸ’–πŸ¦„πŸ¦„πŸ¦„πŸ¦„

Her Instagram posts are inspiring women everywhere to keep going even if they don't think they're getting results.

Aisha R Crenshaw wrote in a comment, "I'm so glad I read this today! Been hitting the gym 5 days a week for almost a month and the scale hasn't budged:( I was going to skip today out of discouragement, but I'm lacing up my sneakers as we speak! Thank you:)"

Norene Osborne wrote, "Amen! I'm 5'5" and was 138# before kids wearing a size 6. Three kids later, as well as changes in diet and exercise, I'm 150# and wear a size 4. Be healthy, mommas!"
