He Makes Dolls That Are So Realistic, You'll Get Chills Just Looking At Them
February 21, 2016
If movies like Annabelle and Chucky creep you out, you might want to turn back now. For everyone else, prepare to be amazed.
Michael Zajkov is a Russian artist who specializes in creating hyper-realistic dolls. He made his first doll in 2010 when he started working as a puppet-maker at a theater. Since then, he's perfected his craft and developed a following that has propelled him to international acclaim.
The eyes of his dolls are hand-painted glass eyes. The heads are made of foil that is then encased in polymer clay.
Once he has the right facial expression and features, he paints on blemishes and freckles to create realistic skin tones.
Every little detail.
