Facebook's Founder Mark Zuckerberg Had The Best Response To A Grandmother's Comment
January 4, 2016
The founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, wrote a post on Sunday night detailing the new technology he plans to master in 2016. It reads:
More than 27,000 people commented on his status update, but one in particular stood out:
The grandmother wrote: "I keep telling my granddaughters to date the nerd in school, he may turn out to be a Mark Zuckerberg! Thanks for FB, I've reconnected with family and old friend and classmates."
But it's Zuckerberg's fantastic response that is worth noting:
"Even better would be to encourage them to *be* the nerd in their school so they can be the next successful inventor!"
Today is a different world than the one Grandma grew up in - one where young women have way more opportunities than securing a successful man.
Zuckerberg's response was absolutely perfect.
